2026 CIM Bib Transfers

Transfer your Full Marathon entry to another runner – For Gold, Orange and Late marathon entry holders ONLY.  If you are currently registered for the full marathon but would like to transfer your entry to another runner you will have the option to do so during the transfer window October 1 – November 17. (Please visit our message board below). If you are looking to transfer your marathon entry to the relay click here for more information.

  • Here is how it works:
    • Visit the CIM Race Roster page
    • Click the blue ‘Transfer’ button and log into your account
    • Click ‘Transfer to a New Registrant’
    • Enter the new runner’s email address
  • The new runner will receive an email with an invitation to complete the transfer
  • The new runner will pay $230 ($180 entry fee plus the $50 transfer fee) for the ability to register with a transferred entry. All money will be exchanged through Race Roster, do not exchange any money outside Race Roster
  • The new runner will not have the ability to transfer the entry again.
  • The new runner will not have the option to transfer to the relay, even if relay registration is still open.
  • The new runner will not have the option to defer.
  • The original runner will receive a refund of their entry fee.
  • Bib transfers apply to marathon entries ONLY. Add-ons (VIP, Run the Parkway, etc.) do not transfer.
  • Please Note: The new runner will be assigned a Blue Entry.

Late Entries, please note – your race entry fee ($230) will be refunded, but the charity portion ($150) of the entry is non-refundable.

To utilize this transfer platform:

    1. Register on this site to be able to post, and comment, in the dialog box below.
    2. An activation email will be sent to the email you used to register for this site. It will be from “SRA Sites” please check your spam or junk mailbox for the email if you do not see it in your inbox.
    3. Once your account has been activated you my log into this message board and begin posting.
    4. Your initial post must be approved by a site moderator in an attempt to limit bots and scammers. Subsequent posts will not be held for moderation.
    5. Post your bib availability, or reply to an existing posted availability.
    6. Follow the conversation until you reach an agreement with an individual to receive their transferred bib.
    7. To finalize the transfer on Race Roster following the steps at the top of this page.

    I’m looking for a bib!

    If it helps my case, here are my stats and reasons why you should consider me for your transfer:

    • I will actually show up.
    • I’ve trained enough that the bib will not be wasted.
    • I’m appropriately nervous, which means I respect the distance.
    • I promise to give your bib a good home and take it on a full tour of the course.
    • I will think fondly of you somewhere around Mile 20 when I’m questioning all of my life choices.
    • I’m very easy to transfer to and will respond immediately. 😂

    So if plans changed, an injury happened, or you’ve recently decided that running 26.2 miles sounds completely unhinged… I’m your girl.

        I ran Humpy’s Marathon in Anchorage and missed a BQ by just 5 seconds. Twenty-seven days later I ran Cascade Express, cut 3 1/2 minutes off my time and got the BQ – but still missed the Boston cutoff. I’ve still got all those training miles in my legs, and CIM wouold give me one more shot at qualifying for 2028. Thanks for considering me! I appreciate your creativity on the board as well 😉
